The MLB App Hits One Out of Park with a one month free trial

Thursday is the opening day for Major League Baseball season, and new updates for MLB.com at Bat arrived just in time. This update introduces a number of new features including the ability to view all the games out of the market in live on a free during the month of April.

Typically, live game streaming video is available only if, in addition to purchase the app, you also have MLB.TV subscription access (which you can also now available on Apple TV, by the way). In April, Volvo is sponsoring a free trial of live streaming for all owners of app MLB.com (versionsiPad and iPhone ). Make sure that it is a hit with those who have yet to decide whether they wish to register in full MLB.TV subscriptions, but also some that decided to be taken into account early and pay the full price ahead of the introduction of this feature you need.

The application also introduces a completely redesigned Gameday feature, which displays the pitch by pitch live information about the virtual version of the actual at-bat live for users without live access video. Gameday updated features now ballpark renderings of MLB 10: The Show, a video game for the PlayStation baseball simulation.

Finally, users also will be able to view key plays and occasional live clips, the obscuration of the game included and watch past 2011 season games in the archive after they air. iPhone users will also be able to access the new features in the Ballpark, including check-ins, maps of the stadia, special offers and features social media.

Android users will get a preview of the free month long or access to archived games, but instead, you will receive one free game out of the market in live, daily during the season and all the other new features listed above are derived from the version of the iPhone.

Plan to spend April join My iPad 2 to a television using HD mirror to watch baseball, something I haven't done regularly, because she was very young. This is certainly a smart move from organization looking to attract new viewers, although I find it surprising that still differ applications iOS and not one universal version. We 'll, if you translate into higher numbers subscription after the trial.
