Apple has enter the official: iPad 2 goes on sale in 25 countries, more starting this Friday, March 25. Tile will be available from 17: 00 local time in retail Apple in those countries and online via the Apple Store at 1 a.m. on 25, like when it first launched in the UNITED STATES.
Countries getting the iPad Friday include Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the U.K. Apple displays only the U.S. prices of its official release Newspapers, and all prices are the same as currently set out in the U.S. Apple.
Apple also announced that Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and other additional countries will be getting the iPad 2 in April, and many more countries follow this. The company noted further details relating to the availability of international and valuation would be released at a later date.
I reported yesterday was unofficially confirmed by an Apple Store, but now Apple clearly wants to international clients know it will actually be to head down to the Apple Store additional early Friday. Will we see lines in international stores? Taking into account, there is still in the U.S., I would say that is a safe bet.
