Wi-Fi iPad 2 gets GPS with iPhone 4 Internet connection sharing (ICS)

Still not decided, that the iPad 2 buy? New report claims, the iPad, you can obtain information about the GPS in the addendum to the network connection to the device iPhone 4 via iPhone new personal hotspot sharing. That may factor into the model of the Christmas tree to decide whether or not to buy.

And remained on the bench the previous that iPhone 4 's personal hotspot sharing (and similar sharing on other smartphones) make 3 G-capable iPad less need for the users. Geoffrey Goetz recently pointed out that, together with 3 G capabilities came TRUE GPS, function does not natively available on iPad Wi-Fi only. But according to TabletMonsters.com, and many commenters on Cult of Mac, GPS make the leap from iPhone to iPad when you share a connection either with the iPhone 4 's Hotpspot or only jailbreak app MyWi, which for the majority of users may be enough incentive to opt for a model Wi-Fi on a variety of 3 G.

I tried this on my 3 G-capable iPads by the exclusion of services of the MTR and connect to my iPhone via personal hotspot. Finally, it seems to be the difference and it looks like it is just as accurate as GPS on the iPhone 4, which is sharing the connection. As a result, even may be uneconomic to use with turn by turn navigation applications. At least provides a much better data to find the exact location of the spots where the mapping via the Wi-Fi towers alone will not provide accurate results, you can significantly improve the experience of a number of iPad applications. Reports suggest that works on the first generation of iPad devices, too.

This affects Your iPad buying choice? How often you can yourself using GPS on Your iPad?
